3 Years!!
So this is a picture from our cruise but since I didn't take my camera...it's all I got.
Well yesterday was our actual anniversary. I thought I had to work late so we didn't really plan anything but then things worked out and I got off at 3:00. So Brack and I went to dinner at Chili's and enjoyed an absolute DELICIOUS dessert. We got the Molten Chocolate Cake. The best part about it was that Bracken had gotten full on his burger so i basically ate the entire thing myself. Then we got home and Brack surprised me with a little gift. He got me a right hand ring! It is beautiful. He is such a sweetheart!!! I am very lucky.
This is my ring, it's really hard to get a picture because I can't figure out how to turn off the flash to get a better picture.
So 3 years ago we were married in the Salt Lake Temple. I was lucky enough to marry the love of my life and for the past 3 years I have loved him more each day! There have been a lot of experiences and things I have learned during our marriage and I wouldn't change it for the world. We have been very blessed!!! I love married life, especially with my sweet Bracken. I look forward to an eternity to spend with him! :)
P.S. I will soon figure out how to make my blog cute! I'm still learning and haven't had time. Also I will put more pictures up from the cruise and I will do my tag, promise!

Family Cruise January 2008
On top of the ship the first day (don't mind the date it was really Jan. 2008)
The biggest thing to hit our home lately would have to be the cruise we went on a few weeks ago. My wonderful loving parents took the entire McGuire family on a Mexican Riviera cruise! It was so fun! We went to Acapulco, Zihuatenajo, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas. Bracken had never been on a cruise or on a beach so it was fun to see him experience things for the first time. It was also fun to see him enjoy so much food! I think he was in heaven! It was fun to be with the be with the family, especially the neices and nephews. We had a blast. Here's a little of what we did:
Brack and our nephew Brody just hanging out. He's so cute!
The first two days were at sea. We spent most of the time just relaxing, sleeping, sitting by the pool and of course eating. On Sunday we were able to hold a family sacrament meeting which was really cool. We reserved a room on the ship that had a gorgeous view and had a wonderful meeting. It was nice to have the neices and nephews help and my wonderful parents put on such a special meeting. On Monday we had another day at sea which ended up being really fun. We spent time to by the pool playing cards, eating (everyday on the deck they had a hamburgers, hot dogs and french fries! The best french fries in the world! They are my favorite food and I ate a ton of them the whole week), and enjoying the sun! It was fun.
Our cute neice Kenslee!
Tuesday was our first stop. We went to Acapulco. My dad had everything scheduled for us that day. We had a taxi take us wherever we wanted to go. The first stop was to a hotel that John Wayne owned and lived in. Which was huge for Bracken because he grew up loving John Wayne with his dad. It had the most amazing view at the top of a cliff on the beach. It was beautiful. Then we went the beach which was really fun. The weather was so nice, I was in heaven. Later that night we went and saw these "world famous" cliff divers. It is a family that has been doing it for years and they have to wait for the perfect size of waves to jump to keep from diving so it is quite risky. But it was fun. Let me just tell you the drivers in Mexico are crazy!! Especially Acapulco, it is crazy busy there with people but the drivers totally scared Brack and I!!

Wednesday we were in Zihuatenajo. Bracken really liked this place, it was more old town Mexico. It was a shopping stop but was on the beach so it was pretty at the same time. It was a short stop there only like 4 hours but we just shopped and looked around. We actually liked it a lot.

Thursday we were in Puerto Vallarta. We didn't really do a whole lot but walk around a look at the old down town area. Again we were basically just walking around the beach. We did a little shopping and looking around. We headed back to Walmart before we got back onto the ship, which was weird because we couldn't find what we needed and everything was packaged so weird. You can tell there must be a lot of theft because things are taped together and locked up and stuff. We got kind of worn out by the sun so headed in early.

Friday we were in Cabo San Lucas. It was the first cloudy day of the trip but still warm. We started off doing a little shopping at Del Sol and then got a taxi to go to the beach. The water was SO cold! Bracken of course decided to jump in because he's crazy but we still had fun with the kids and hanging out.

Each night we went to dinner all together as a family and separated to go to various shows. Truthfully it was kind of nice for Brack and I to not have kids because we were able to be free to do whatever we wanted. I know kids will be better and more important but for us and one of our first vacations since we've been married it was nice to just be able to be on our own. There was a hilarious comedian on the ship, Bud Anderson, we went to all of his shows. He was awesome! Brack and I loved him. We were able to spend time with all of my siblings and spouses and kids and have loved the time to be with family. It was such a blessing. The freedom and chance to not worry about work, cooking, and cleaning for 8 days was amazing. Thanks so much to mom and dad for the trip and the wonderful memories. We will never forget it!
